The reader connects directly to the electricity meter's HAN port, requiring no installations, cabling, or integrations. The device connects automatically to the mobile network via its own SIM card, so Wi-Fi is not needed.

Accuracy that quarter-hourly and hourly data can't match

eWatt measures electricity at 10-second accuracy, so short power spikes, wrong timings, and abnormal usage don't disappear into averages. This makes visible the phenomena that determine consumption but remain hidden in traditional monitoring.

Device-specific consumption without device-specific meters

eWatt identifies different devices' and systems' electricity usage based on their unique electrical fingerprint. This way, the entire factory's or property's device-specific consumption becomes visible without expensive device-specific sensors or installations.

Over 30 metrics from a single meter

Consumption alone isn't enough to understand what's happening with electricity. eWatt continuously reads over 30 different metrics from the electricity meter, such as power, currents, voltages, phase-specific differences, and reactive power, which reveal anomalies related to power quality and loading.

Data is visible in real-time but also stored for later review. We compile electricity data into one clear interface that production, maintenance, and energy management can use as a shared foundation. This way, changes, anomalies, and actions taken can be verified afterwards. We have one of Europe's largest electricity data banks.

eWatt's data security is built for industrial environments. Electricity data is transferred and stored according to EU and Finnish requirements, and data is always owned by the customer. All information is protected, traceable, and reliable.
