How it starts
Order
Online, on the order page: one eWatt Reader for each property.
We check the meters
eWatt checks that each electricity meter is suitable and asks the network company to open its HAN port.
Delivery
The Readers are posted to you, ready to plug in.
Plug it in
About five minutes per property. No electrician and no site visit.
Data and findings
A reading every 10 seconds from the first day. Findings the next day: the likely cause, what to do, and what it costs.

eWatt Reader
One small device. Continuous visibility into electricity consumption.
Questions about pricing
What is the price for?
The price is per property you monitor. Each property gets one eWatt Reader on its electricity meter, and all prices are excluding VAT. Special case or questions? Contact sales.
What does the order include?
An order includes an eWatt Reader for each property, the meter check, delivery, and getting the service running. It costs a one-time device fee of €249 per property, less from 11 properties, and a service opening fee of €590, charged only once per customer. Prices exclude VAT.
The one-time fees are invoiced at the end of the first month, together with the monthly fees.
How is the monthly fee billed?
At the end of the first month comes one invoice: the device fees, the opening fee and the monthly fees for 12 months. If you return the eWatt Readers within the first month, there is no invoice.
How long is the contract?
The contract runs for 12 months. It renews automatically 12 months at a time. To end it, tell eWatt in writing at least 30 days before the current 12 months are up.
The eWatt Reader remains eWatt's property and is returned within 30 days of the contract ending. It is under warranty for as long as you use it.
What if my meter's HAN port is closed?
eWatt checks that each electricity meter is suitable and asks the network company to open its HAN port, before the eWatt Readers are delivered. You do not need to do anything.
The pricing page lists the meter models the eWatt Reader works with. If yours is not there, ask sales before you order.
Which meters does eWatt work with?
eWatt works with several electricity meter models in use in Finland. Below are the supported meter models, their connections, and things to note about them.
eWatt is compatible with these meter models
| Manufacturer | Model | Connection | Type | Network companies / notes |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Aidon | 6000-sarja (6141, 6161, 7534) Base model, low voltage | P1 | Low voltage | Elenia, Helen, Caruna, Vantaan Energia and others. The most widespread model in Finland. |
| Aidon | 6000W / 6800 CT model | P1 | Current transformer / Medium voltage | For larger properties (CT measurement). Used by several network companies. |
| Landis+Gyr | E360 (ZMF120) Base model, low voltage | P1 | Low voltage | HSY/Helen Sähköverkko, Turku Energia, PKS, Savon Voima. Common in southern Finland. |
| Landis+Gyr | E360 CT (ZMF320) CT model | P1 | Current transformer / Medium voltage | Larger properties, CT connection. Used by several regional network companies. |
| Kamstrup | OMNIPOWER Multifunction AMI | P1 / HAN | Low voltage / Current transformer | Järvi-Suomen Energia, EPV Alueverkko and some smaller network companies. |
| Iskraemeco | AM550 DLMS/COSEM based | P1 | Low voltage | Some smaller regional network companies. Slovenian manufacturer, more limited use. |
| Sagemcom | T210-D / SICONIA French manufacturer | P1 | Low voltage | Some network companies acquired as part of AMM expansions. Limited presence in Finland. |
Connection: P1 = RJ12 connector (DSMR protocol). HAN (Home Area Network) refers to the same user port under a different name. Types: Low voltage = under 1 kV | Current transformer = CT measurement for larger properties | Medium voltage = 1–36 kV

Electricity data exposed a grid operator's fault
When equipment in a manufacturing plant kept breaking down without explanation, the answer wasn't in the customer's own production. It was in the grid — and eWatt's data proved it to the second.
